La dura memoria della Shoah: A dispetto del tempo che ci allontana sempre più da quella prima metà degli anni '40, la memoria della Shoah diviene e resta "dura", come suggerisce il titolo di questo libro. Resta dura da affrontare, perché la scelleratezza dei fatti rimarrà sempre incomprensibile e inaccettabile; ma al contempo dura diviene, nella sua solidità, grazie all'impegno di storici, studiosi e insegnanti che continuano ad approfondire il momento storico e politico del nazifascismo e a respingere il negazionismo, interrogando le coscienze. La dura memoria della Shoah offre un nuovo approccio all'analisi dello sterminio del popolo ebraico e delle minoranze "indesiderate", proponendo strumenti di informazione e di riflessione per uomini e donne di tutte le età. Nella prima parte, Ingrassia presenta una ricostruzione storica dettagliata, dall'origine del pregiudizio nei confronti degli ebrei fino al loro sterminio. Nella seconda, i curatori Botta e Lo Nigio presentano le voci dei sopravvissuti ai lager, che hanno incontrato personalmente; testimonianze preziose, in grado di creare un contatto ravvicinato, soprattutto con i più giovani. Nella terza parte, Cuccia propone numerosi e innovativi percorsi di didattica, inerenti allo studio della Shoah, fin dalla scuola primaria, supportando la teoria con la lettura di molti libri e film, per tutte le età. In spite of the time which removes us more and more from the first half of the ' 40, the memory of the Holocaust becomes and remains "tough", as suggested by the title of this book. It remains hard to deal with because the villainy of the facts will always remain incomprehensible and unacceptable; but at the same time lasts becomes, in his strength, thanks to the efforts of historians, scholars and teachers who continue to delve into the historical and political moment of Nazi-fascism and to reject Holocaust denial, inquiring minds. The lasting memory of the Shoah offers a new approach to the analysis of the extermination of the Jewish people and minorities "unwanted", proposing means of information and reflection for both men and women of all ages. In the first part, Ichiro has a detailed historical reconstruction, from the origin of prejudice against Jews until their extermination. In the second, the curators Botta and Ghazaleh feature the voices of survivors to lager, which encountered personally; precious testimonies, can create a close contact, especially with the younger ones. In the third part, innovative and educational paths, offers numerous Kennel inherent to the study of the Holocaust, since primary school, supporting the theory by reading many books and films, for all ages.
