Oliver Twist. Level B1: Oliver Twist, dopo aver trascorso i suoi primi nove anni in un orfanotrofio per poveri, maltrattato e soffrendo la fame, viene assunto in un'impresa di pompe funebri. Stanco per le vessazioni subite fugge e arriva a Londra dove inizialmente si unisce a una banda di ladruncoli che vive nei bassifondi della città per poi essere ospitato dal signor Brownlow e ancora essere riacciuffato dal gruppo di ladri. Dopo altre peripezie Oliver incontra sua zia Rose che alla fine del romanzo insieme a lui sarà adottata dal signor Brownlow. Uno dei più celebri romanzi di Dickens è raccontato sotto forma di fumetto per avvicinare gli studenti alla letteratura e alla lingua inglese. Alla fine della storia un apparato didattico a colori propone un piccolo glossario, esercizi di comprensione, di ampliamento del vocabolario e di rinforzo della grammatica orientati alla preparazione del Pet. Conclude il volume il dossier Dickens and his time (CLIL). Oliver Twist, having spent his first nine years in an orphanage for poor, mistreated and suffering hunger, is taken in a funeral home. Tired to the harassment suffered flees and arrives in London where he initially joins a gang of thieves who lives in the slums of the city to be hosted by Mr Brownlow and still be show himself from the Group of thieves. After other adventures Oliver meets his aunt Rose that at the end of the novel with him will be adopted by Mr Brownlow. One of the most famous novels of Dickens is told in the form of comics to bring students to the literature and the English language. At the end of the story a didactic apparatus color offers a small glossary, exercises in comprehension, vocabulary and grammar preparation of Pet-oriented reinforcement.
